Jackson and Sons Heating and Air, LLC opened in Hickory Hill in 2010. It is a small dispatch — two of us in the office and on the trucks, plus a service apprentice when the season turns.
We have been doing residential and commercial systems across Memphis, Bartlett, Cordova, Germantown, Collierville, Southaven and Olive Branch for over fourteen years. The Better Business Bureau accredited us in August 2023 and rated the file A+. We have kept it that way by answering the phone ourselves.
What gets us called back is the part most shops skip: a written diagnosis, a fixed-price quote you can read at the kitchen table, and the same crew on the install as on the warranty visit a year later.

What goes on the truck
The work catalog, honest about what we do.
A small two-truck dispatch covers residential and light commercial HVAC. We are not a 50-tech franchise that pretends every job is an emergency; we are the same two people who answer the phone, write the quote, and turn the wrench.
Residential install + replacement
Heat-pump, gas furnace, straight-cool split. Right-sized to the load (Manual J on full replacements), brazed and pressure-tested before charge.
No-cool / no-heat repair
Same-day diagnostic. Cap, contactor, capacitor and TXV repairs handled on the truck. Written before-and-after readings on every visit.
Spring + fall tune-up plan
Two visits per system per year. Coil rinse, drain flush, electrical tighten, refrigerant check, blower belt + bearing where applicable.
Ductless & mini-split
New shop, garage, in-law suite, addition. Single-zone and multi-zone, line-set lagged and protected, condensate handled at install.
Light-commercial RTU + split
Restaurants, small offices, warehouses across Memphis, DeSoto and Shelby County. Belt, bearing, contactor, capacitor service contracts.
Indoor air & airflow
Static-pressure surveys, MERV upgrades, air-handler return work, dehumidifiers tied into the existing duct. Memphis humidity is not optional.

When the unit is out
Call dispatch. Same day.
Whether the upstairs unit is short-cycling at 9pm or the office RTU is making a noise the manager cannot identify — the phone is on, the trucks are stocked, Channin or Melvin Jr. picks up.
